Return
- Unused items can be returned within 30 days of purchase.
- You can opt for a refund (via the original payment method) or a store voucher.
Items that are in 'sales' can simply be returned and are eligible for a refund. For 'outlet/last chance' items you will receive a store voucher in exchange.
- Only unused items (not worn or washed) can be returned. We won't be able to accept items that are used, washed, worn or no longer have their tags or labels attached. If we receive such items, we will contact you through email to send them back to you.
Exchange
The fastest way to exchange your new size is to order a new product today and return the original product within 30 days of purchase. This way you will receive your product quickly and there is less chance that it will be sold out.
The return label can be purchased on our return portal. But for the new order you will place - to exchange the goods - you can mail us at info@the-dao-store.com and we will gladly provide you with a code that will offer you free shipping at checkout. Like this we split the extra shipping/return costs :)
You can also return or exchange your items at our flagship store. We're happy to offer some help with the fitting.
Returning procedure
How does this work?
BELGIUM
Option 1: Return your items for free at our flagship store in Gent
Option 2: Get your return label for 5 euro
- Please keep your order number and postal code nearby to enter the portal.
- When you entered the portal, please mark the item/items and the reason you want to return an item.
- By following the further instructions on the portal you can directly buy and download your return label.
- When preparing your parcel, please add the packing list to the package indicating which item you are returning to us. This way we have everything at hand for smooth processing.
- Attach the return label to the properly sealed package and take your package to the nearest postal shop or parcelpoint (depending on which carrier you choose).
- As soon as your return has arrived with us, everything is carefully checked.
When everything is approved, the refund will be processed on the same account/card you originally made the payment with. For returned outlet/last chances items you will get a store voucher.
Option 3: Organise your return with your own courier
- Please send an email to info@the-dao-store.com to request for return (with your order number included).
- Organise a return with a courier of your choice.
Please make sure you choose a service with track & trace so you can check whether we have received your goods. The return address is the dão store, Onderbergen 58, 9000 Gent. - As soon as your return has arrived with us, everything is carefully checked.

Right of withdrawal
In addition, you can also let us know that you renounce the purchase by means of the European Withdrawal Form, but you are not obliged to do so.
